Day 8? of Vacation

Today started off with snow...so we drove thru Garden of the Gods, then sightseed in Manitou Springs, then off to the Cliff Dwellings...then the sun came out and we went back to Garden of the Gods for some hiking..Beautiful day!

Made it to Pikes's Peak

got to Pike's Peak with cousin Jack and it was snowing and blowing on top..19 degrees with wind chill of 2! But boy we had fun!

Survived the Night at The Stanley Hotel In Estes Park, CO

Now in Estes Park, CO

We have arrived at Estes Park CO..checked into the Stanley Hotel..had dinner with our nephew, Evan...and now plan to go to sleep in the most haunted hotel in the USA

Badlands, Custer State Park, the Black Hills and today Devils Tower..so far, so great!

We are on VACATION!!

Hooray! We are taking a vacation! We are doing a Great American Road Trip.
MN, IOWA, SD, WY, CO, NEB...9 days. we leave EARLY Friday morning and will be in the Badlands that evening...we will be back home on Tuesday, 10/13..


Badlands, Custer National Park, Minuteman Missle Site, Mt Rushmore, Devils Tower, Estes Park to the haunted Stanley Hotel (and see Evan) and then Colorado Springs to see all my cousins, Pikes Peak and all the sites..
