Barn is no more

We cleaned up around the barn. Pulled out more recycle stuff and piled it by the side of the road. We did save out some wood to use in some projects,,

It’s now being gleaned by the neighborhood and what is left will be burned after we get snow on the ground.



Now we just have to get rid of the silo. Want a silo???

Sleepy Hollow Barn Being Taken Down

We are having the barn taken down by a wonderful company, "Old Wood, New Use"...they told us that over 90% of the materials will be recycled. I am a little sad to see the barn come down, but we would never have used it...it also was in a terrible location RIGHT on the road and it affected the water drainage on the hill behind it...and our taxes should be lower now without the structure! So, it's all good.
