Blog not the same without Webshots photos

For more than a decade I have used Webshots to back up all my photos and create albums out of over 9,000 of my photos and videos.

I used those Webshots photos and albums in my Blog and on my Facebook page...

But now Webshots sold out and "switched over to a new photo hosting site called 'Smile".

Let me just say...Smile Sucks!!

I downloaded all 9,000 of my photos before Webshots threw them all away Dec 1, 2012...but they are not labeled in the zipped downloaded files..and now that I am downloading them to my new Google Picasa web Album...I am seeing the photos aren't even in order within the folders and just all randomly put into groups!!

BOY, I have a lot of work getting they all straightened out and labeled again...

So you will see lots of empty space on my blog where wonderful photos used to be.

It will talk me a LONG time before I can get all the photos back online.

THANKS for letting me vent ;)

I love collecting magnets when we travel and over the years have collected so many the poor frig groaned under the weight!

THEN we got a new stainless steel frig...no more magnets upstairs in our main living area anymore!

So the collection of magnets is at work, at Sleepy Hollow and stuck on the extra frig we have downstairs.

I completed this weekend a DYI project to make artwork out of my magnets.

First a found 3 nice oak frames at Goodwill...$5 each.

Then I had three pieces of sheet metal cut to fit in the frames. I told the guys at the heating place what they was for and they thought that it was so cool, the didn't charge me!!

I now have 2 magnet frames side by side with travel magnets and photos.

and one with fun magnets and paperwork.

They look great in the newly painted kitchen and now I can start buying magnets again when we travel....
