Super Busy In The Hollow

We did it...we bought more property in the Hollow. This land adjoins our existing acres and completes a block of property. We've attempted to buy it for several years and I guess we finally wore down the buyer. It has a house and several buildings on it, but the house is in bad shape. In the 7 years that we have wanted to buy it, is has really deteriorated. So it appears our only option is to tear it down. So now we are cleaning up and gutting the building. We plan to restore this beautiful piece of land back to nature...

Summer is in Full Swing

It's been a fun and busy summer so far. We recently hosted a prairie hike on Steve's project...recreating an oak savanna on our property. LIFE IS GOOD!

A wonderful vacation to New Orleans, Memphis, St Louis and points in between.

Spring is Finally Here

It makes me so happy to see all the hills and hollows those pretty Spring shades of green.

The bird feeders in our yard are packed with orioles, grosbeaks, white throated sparrows, indigo buntings, hummingbirds and more.

My studio is no longer a sick room and I have been busy creating new items and experimenting with new things.

It promises to be a great summer!

I'm Drained

Being a caretaker for my mother the last 3 months has completely drained me. Now that she is better...2019 can finally begin.
